Feb. 4, 2020—Four Star Automotive in Airmont, N.Y., has gifted a repaired vehicle to a local veteran through a partnership with VFW, reports the Rockland/Westchester Journal News.
Army veteran Carolyn Fugate received a 2008 Honda Civic after her mechanic told her that her 1990 Honda Accord would not pass an inspection.
This vehicle is the 15th to be refurbished and given to a Rockland, N.Y., veteran through the VFW Post 9215 and the co-owners of Four Star Automotive, Irwin Weisman and David Davidowicz.
