Dec. 30, 2020—Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has announced the winners of its sixth annual Intermotor ‘Import Leader’ automotive scholarship contest, according to a press release.
Winners included Jackson Dietrich of St. Charles, Ill., Logan Peterson of Litchfield, Minn., Korbyn Cowan of Sand Springs, Okla., and Jessica Kenyon of Westborough, Mass. Each will receive a $5,000 scholarship to apply toward their education in automotive technology or repair with a focus on import vehicles.
Hundreds of students entered the contest and winners were selected by a panel of judges as those who exhibited the best qualities representing Intermotor Import, a manufacturer of import engine management parts.
The competition was open to legal residents currently enrolled full-time in high school, or in an accredited two-or four-year College, University or post-high school educational program.
