March 3, 2017—The NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) board of directors recently elected the first slate of officers under its new guidelines.
The new rules saw four new directors elected to the board in January, joining nine directors whose terms continued. Then, in February, the full board of 13 directors elected from among themselves NAFA’s new president, senior vice president, vice president and secretary/treasurer.
NAFA's new slate of officers for the 2017-2018 term are:
- President - Bryan Flansburg, CAFM
- Senior Vice President - Patti Earley, CAFM
- Vice President - Jeff Jeter
- Secretary/Treasurer - David Hayward
Also on the NAFA Board of Directors are:

Bryan Flansburg has more than 32 years of fleet experience, 28 of which were with the University of Colorado as the director of transportation services. He has served terms for NAFA in both appointed and elected positions (local and national). He has also been a trusted fleet educator, presenting for NAFA webinars, seminars, and the association's annual conference. He is the recipient of the 2015 "Excellence in Education Award" and the 2011 "Larry Goill Memorial Award for Quality Fleet Management Ideas."
Patti Earley has served NAFA in multiple capacities as a committee leader and most recently as NAFA's treasurer. She is the 2011 recipient of NAFA's "Excellence in Education Award."
Jeff Jeter previously served as NAFA's vice president (2015-2016). He is an integral figure with the Old Dominion Chapter and is a past chapter chair.
David Hayward assumes the newly-combined position of secretary/treasurer. His previous position as International vice president—which had oversight of NAFA's global fleet efforts—has been absorbed into his new responsibilities.
