VW Reaches Compensation Deal

Dec. 20, 2016—Volkswagen AG has reached an agreement for a number of buybacks and fixes, according to a report by Automotive News.  

The cost of the settlement is not yet available.


The settlement was for close to 80,000 polluting 3.0-liter diesel VW, Porsche and Audi vehicles that were equipped with faulting emission software, according to the report.
