Jan. 6, 2016

Jan. 6, 2016—On Monday, Faraday Future, a California automaker, unveiled its first concept vehicle, the FFZero1, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, according to a report by CNN.

The FFZero1 is a single-seat, all-electric sports car that could produce as much as 1,000 horsepower. Faraday’s first production car is expected to be more conservative and practical than the FFZero1 and is expected to be available in two years.

Faraday’s concept car uses a flexible chassis that can be made longer or shorter to include a varying number of battery packs. The chassis is designed to accept from one to four electric motors, according to CNN.

"You don't have to sacrifice anything for being sustainable," said Richard Kim, head of design for Faraday Future, according to the report. "This is a 100% sustainable, electric, non-polluting vehicle, and it can be as dynamic as 1,000 horsepower."
