April 15, 2013—Trend forecaster TrueCar.com has named Subaru, Toyota and BMW among the best manufacturers and brands for March 2013.
In its March Performance Scorecards, Subaru, Toyota and BMW were the top manufacturers, while Volvo, Mitsubishi and General Motors were near the bottom.
The Performance Scorecards grade each manufacturers on eight different measurements related to pricing, sales, incentives, customer loyalty, market share and days in inventory data.
The brands that received the highest grades for the period were Scion, MINI, Subaru, Lexus and Audi, while the brands with the lowest grades were GMC, Buick and Dodge.
The manufacturers with the largest gains from February to March of this year were Toyota and Porsche, while Mitsubishi, Mazda and Ford experienced the steepest declines.
