Women’s Board to Reveal New Brand at AAPEX

Oct. 12, 2016

Oct. 12, 2016—The Car Care Council Women’s Board is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new name and rebranding effort at AAPEX 2016.

The group’s new name, Women in Auto Care, was selected in response to the Women’s Board growth and upcoming initiatives to establish itself in a leadership position around the globe.

“This year has been outstanding, with two successful leadership conferences and our membership, benefits and sponsor partnerships have continued to accelerate,” said Amy Mattinat, president. “Since 1996, we have grown from a board of a selection of elite women professionals to a membership organization of more than 200 auto care professionals dedicated to providing opportunities, education and career leadership to women in the industry.

Lisa Rodriguez, owner of Soaring Marketing LLC, took on the rebranding effort on behalf of the Women’s Board.

The new name, logo, and more information will be unveiled at this year’s annual press conference at AAPEX on Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. at the Venetian Casanova Room 505.
