Innova Acquires Aftermarket Telematics Technologies

July 7, 2016

July 7, 2016—Innova Electronics Corporation announced Wednesday that it has acquired Aftermarket Telematics Technologies LLC.

Aftermarket Telematics Technologies provides Web-based automotive telematics software and services for the aftermarket. The software makes it easier to manage connected vehicles from anywhere.

“By completing this strategic acquisition, we are able to offer a full suite of telematics solutions for automotive aftermarket parts and service providers so they can build stronger customer relationships through connected car technologies,” said Innova CEO Ieon Chen.

Aftermarket Telematics Technologies’ CEO Jim Dykstra will join Innova in a management role.

“Bringing in ATT’s Vehimatics connected car technology allows Innova to round out its telematics portfolio,” said Mike Fitzgerald, executive vice president and general manager of Innova Fleet Services. “Now, in addition to serving fleet customers, we will be able to provide comprehensive business intelligence, remote diagnostics, and parts and vehicle management technology to help our aftermarket customers compete.”
