June 8, 2014—The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) announced Monday additional details about its upcoming annual convention, including automaker factory tours and keynote speakers.
ARA’s 71st Annual Convention and Exposition will be held Oct. 22–25 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention center in Nashville, Tenn. and attendees will get the chance to tour Nissan North America’s manufacturing plant. There will also be a 12-hour expo featuring nearly 100 exhibitors, a networking breakfast for the Ladies of the Automotive Recyclers Association, and the Annual Awards Dinner and Presidential Gavel Passing.
The keynote speaker for the event will be John Van Alstyne, CEO and president of I–CAR, who will present on Oct. 23. Christy Wright, a business and life coach, will also speak on the 24th.
