Greg Sands to Keynote Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference

Jan. 12, 2016—Successful multi-shop operator and industry entrepreneur Greg Sands will deliver the keynote address at the 2016 Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference.

In his presentation, “Stand Out and Thrive: The Keys to Success in a Fast-Changing Industry,” Sands will discuss consolidation and provide insight on his 20 years of experience in growing, building, buying and selling shops. The keynote will provide proven strategies that shops can implement to not only compete but also stand out in a competitive industry.

“Few people have their finger on the pulse of the auto care industry like Greg Sands,” said Ratchet+Wrench Editor Jake Weyer. “His vision and understanding of the industry’s changing dynamics has allowed him to become a powerhouse shop operator and entrepreneur, and I’m thrilled that Greg will be able to share his expertise with attendees of the Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference.”

Sands has opened over 80 shops during his career and founded the $70 million industry marketing firm Mudlick Mail. He was recently honored with an Advertising Excellence award and chosen as an entrepreneur panelist for the American Express Shop Small Initiative. In addition to his auto empire, Sands is a frequent consultant and feature subject of Ratchet+Wrench magazine.

The Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, scheduled from Sept. 22–24 in Chicago, will include educational sessions, deep-dive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter.
