Shops in 14 States to Participate in National Day of Service

Aug. 26, 2015

Aug. 26, 2015—Shops in 14 states have announced their participation in Family Service Day’s National Day of Service on Nov. 7.  The initiative, “Keep Cars Kickin’”, provides no-charge vehicle maintenance, service and education to families that need help caring for their vehicles.

Family Service Day events across the country will help families-in-need while automotive shops share their talents and give back to the community.

Six thousand TECHNET shops now have access to Family Service Day’s program, and tremendous growth is expected for 2016. Since 2014, two official nonprofit partners have joined the mission: Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity.
