ClearMechanic Plus Adds VIN Scanner to Mobile App

Nov. 22, 2013—ClearMechanic Plus has added a VIN bar code scanner to its iPhone and Android mobile applications, the company announced Friday.

When the VIN is scanned, the program instantly searches national databases and retrieves available vehicle information. This vehicle information automatically appears in the custom “Inspection Form” on the app.

The VIN scanner is included in the monthly subscription fee at no extra charge.
