March 3, 2016—CURT Manufacturing LLC has released its new Q25 5th wheel hitch.
The Q25 operates on a patented spherical axial bearing, a mechanism that allows the hitch head to tilt in virtually any direction with the kingping. The Q25 also offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 25,000 lbs. and vertical load limit of 6,250 lbs.
In addition to its spherical axial bearing, it features a pair of dual jaws that lock onto the kingpin with 360 degrees of contact to reduce wheel noise and ensure a secure connection.
The Q25 is tested in accordance with SAE J2638 protocols for safety.
