July 21, 2014—Mighty, an OEM auto parts distributor, announced July 17 the launch of its new mobile application, the Automotive Sales Service Inspection Support Tool (ASSIST).
The app, made for both iPad and Android tablets, offers a vehicle inspection checklist and menu of automotive services. It allows shop users to take, attach and send pictures and inspection forms to consumers. The product is geared toward educating consumers about the condition of their vehicles, as well as services their shop offers.
In addition, the program allows shops to send thank-you notes to customers and enter or scan VIN barcodes. The features aim to increase customer satisfaction as well as PM sales.
