Feb. 18, 2016—Hofmann has released its new monty 8100S tire charger.
“The new Hofmann monty 8100S is a conventional tire changer with pioneering technology that makes it distinctive in the marketplace,” said Brian Gates, product manager for Hofmann. “It is simple to use, requires minimal training and is sure to increase productivity as shops can perform more tire changes more easily day in and day out.”
The Hofmann monty 8100S features an exclusive self-adjustable speed system called smartSpeed that maximizes rotation speed in line with required torque. Another unique feature of the monty 8100S is the finger trigger bead breaker that combines the performance of a traditional on-side bead breaker with effortless operation.
The new tire changer has a conventional mounting head and tire lever, as well as mount and de-mount assist arms. The wheel lift has an enhanced ergonomic design to assist technicians in positioning heavy tires on the machine and the tire lifting tool supports the demounting process.
