Ford’s EVs Outpace ICE Sales for November

Dec. 5, 2022

The sales report shows that the U.S. auto industry is headed steadily toward zero emissions.

Dec. 5, 2022—Gas-powered vehicle sales continue to slide, according to an auto sales report released by Ford reported by Electrek. The report, which detailed its November sales, said “electric vehicle sales were up over 100% YOY for the fifth straight month” indicating that the auto industry is progressing slowly and steadily towards the Biden Administration’s 2035 zero-emissions goal.

Sales of Ford electric vehicles doubled the rate of the market in November, keeping the automaker the No. 2 EV maker in the U.S., behind leader Tesla.
