Honda Plans to Use CR-V to Push Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles
The plug-in-hybrid fuel-cell combination is one that owners of fuel-cell vehicles have requested for years and generations of vehicles, said the report.
Dec. 1, 2022—Honda announced that it plans to roll out its next hydrogen fuel cell vehicle using the latest CR-V crossover as its base model.
This hydrogen fuel cell vehicle will include a first—home charging capability. According to a press release from Honda, charging in the vehicle “enables the driver to charge the onboard battery to deliver EV driving around town with the flexibility of fast hydrogen refueling for longer trips."
Green Car Reports stated that the size of the battery pack is currently unknown, but [Honda] suggested that it will remain small.
