Local Shop in Kentucky Plans for Second Location

Nov. 8, 2022

Fast Lane Auto Repair is based in Owensboro and is owned by Tony Lane.

Nov. 8, 2022—A local repair shop in Owensboro, Kentucky, is opening a second location due to high demand.

According to the Owensboro Times, Tony Lane opened Fast Lane Auto Repair around eight years ago with six service bays and three employees. Since that time, the original location has undergone a remodel and now has 12 service bays and nearly 25 employees.

Lane said adding a new location will help them keep up with demand, as their current lot is nearly always full. Fast Lane is a well-known shop around the area, and Lane told the Owensboro Times that word-of-mouth has proven to be their best marketing strategy.

The second Fast Lane location is expected to open by mid-January 2023, and will take over the space that used to house Shelby Wheel and Tire in Owensboro.
