APA, Red Cross Partner for Hurricane Relief

Oct. 14, 2022

APA President Steve Tucker is partnering with the red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Ian.

October 14, 2022—Though Hurricane Ian isn’t making headlines for its real-time devastation, there are people still in need in its aftermath—and organizations want to help.

Automotive Parts Associates Cares has partnered with the Red Cross to provide aid, and Steve Tucker, president of APA-TruStar, is asking for charitable people in the automotive aftermarket industry to help.

“In a matter of a few hours, Ian thrashed these folks’ lives, and we have to do something. APA-TruStar doesn’t just hear faraway cries, we respond to our neighbors, too. Headquarters will be leading the charge with a donation, and staff giving as they see fit,” said Tucker in a press release.

Those wishing to help and who would like to provide financial assistance should make checks payable to the Red Cross, and mail them to Judy Sanell (P. O. Box 7069, Overland Park, KS 66207) no later than October 26.
