Aug. 15, 2022—An auto repair shop in Kennewick, Washington, has announced a new expansion.
According to the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business, Platinum Automotive originally started in a garage at the home of Nathan Goetsch. Goetsch went from providing mobile service to opening his current automotive repair location.
The success of his business has come along with the need for more space than his current location can offer. So now Goetsch is financing a $1.3 million building for his shop.
Goetsch secured a private commercial loan after his mother passed away, and the funds will help him make this dream building a reality.
The new building will have six bays, and the foundation has already been poured. Goetsch anticipates to be open in late 2022 or early 2023. He currently employees three full time technicians, and foresees adding just a few more onto his team at the new location. He prides his work on low turnover with staff and great rapport with customers.
“We definitely try to make sure we develop relationships with our customers,” Goetsch said in the article. “Not only do they trust us, but they trust us enough to tell their friends and family, or somebody at the gas station. Most of our business comes from referrals and word of mouth.”
