Bosch has two new electric vehicle charging options that can be utilized in a home setting as well as in public.

July 22, 2022—Bosch has announced two new electric vehicle chargers.

According to a press release, the EV300 Level 2 EV Charging Station is a compact outdoor and indoor charger that is ideal for home charging or in a garage space. The EV 3000 DC Fast Charger, however, was designed with public charging in mind. This outdoor/indoor charger could be used in the workplace or public parking lots, for example.

"As electric vehicles become more prevalent on the road, Bosch is working to create more EV solutions," said Jeff Hudnut, EV Product Manager at Bosch, in the press release. “EV drivers want convenience, and the EV300 and EV3000 offer that for both at-home and commercial/public settings. The new chargers provide significantly faster charging that can be done anywhere, increasing convenience without sacrificing safety."

The EV300 charges four times faster than a standard plug outlet and the EV3000 is four times faster than a standard Level 2 charging station, according to the press release.
