Professional-grade tools will help consumers better diagnose cars.

Feb. 24, 2020—OTOFIX, a Port Washington, N.Y., automotive diagnostics technology company, introduced its first line of digital diagnostic and scanning tools. The product line provides car owners professional-grade tools for performing on-board computer scans and diagnostics typically handled by repair shops. This allows users to pinpoint problems and address the needs of their vehicles based on the vehicle make, model, and year.

OTOFIX enters the market with five tools: the D1 Advanced Diagnostics tablet, the D1 Lite All Systems Scan and Service tablet, the IM1 Immobilizer/Key Programming tablet with XP1 key programmer, the B1 Battery Tester, and the B1 Lite Battery Tester. All tools are compatible with new American, Asian, and European vehicles and models as late as 1996.
