ASE Hosting Free Transmission Diagnosis Training

Feb. 4, 2022—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Entitled “Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Diagnosis,” the webinar will help technicians develop a solid approach to transmission diagnosis. 

William “Bill” McAleese with DRiV/Garage Gurus will unveil some key elements to build this approach including:

  • Building a diagnostic flow when troubleshooting automatic transmission/transaxles
  • Explain components of the hydraulic portion of the automatic transmission/transaxle
  • How to use clutch application and power flow charts to pinpoint failures in an automatic transmission/transaxle
