Three customers shared their experiences with a local news outlet.

Dec. 20, 2021—Customers of Mass Appeal Auto Care, a repair shop in Carmichael, Calif., are accusing the shop of taking joy rides in their vehicles, ABC-10 reported.

Three customers shared their experiences with the outlet. One customer, owner of a 1965 AC Cobra, said the shop crashed his vehicle and said they would fix it but now have not responded to calls or texts from the owner.

Another customer found evidence on social media that a worker had taken his car for a joy ride late at night and confronted the shop’s workers but did not get any information from them. A final third customer said the shop took $3000 for work they never ended up completing.

When the outlet went to the store and asked the shop’s manager about the incidents he said “no idea what you’re talking about.”
