Two Men Killed Outside Repair Shop

Dec. 16, 2021—Two men have been killed outside of an auto repair business in Jackson, Miss., WAPT-TV reported. 

A suspect has not yet been identified. 

Investigators said the men were gunned down late Friday outside an auto repair shop, which has yet to be identified. 

The business owner, who didn’t want to be identified, said he was friends with one of the men who was killed – 24-year-old Hector Lopez.

"He said, 'I've been shot. Somebody shot me.' I said, 'Why are you calling me?' And then he said, 'Call the police,'" the owner said.

The other shooting victim was 22-year-old Johnny Lopez, according to police. According to the shop owner, he was trying to drop off his car to get repaired.
