ASA Names Executive Director of Great Lakes Region

Nov. 23, 2021

It's the second regional executive director that ASA has named since it shifted its membership model.

Nov. 23, 2021—The Automotive Service Association has named Mike McManus, association management veteran and sales manager, as the new regional executive director of the Great Lakes Region of ASA.

McManus is the second regional director that ASA has announced since it shifted its membership model in September. Last week, Julie Massaro was named the regional executive director of the Mountain Region.

McManus will oversee the Great Lakes Region, which covers the territory of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. McManus previously worked as the president of an association management company, for which the National Auto Body Council was a client. The new role is effective immediately.

“With Mike’s talents and abilities to lead many associations, his knowledge of the industry through his NABC role, along with his well rounded background, we knew he would be the right individual to lead this territory and be a good fit for our team,” Blair Calvo, ASA interim executive director and vice president of regional services said in a statement.
