Museum to Fund Female-Owned Automotive Business

July 13, 2021
The automotive-focused museum aims to help launch one startup business per year through mentorship and financial backing.

July 13, 2021—The Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, Calif. is launching an incubator program to support female-led, automotive-focused startups, reported The Drive

With just 24 percent of motor vehicle industry positions were held by women in 2019, the Museum aims to help early-stage companies with a three-month mentorship from six top industry leaders. The selected startup will also receive up to $25,000 to grow its business.

The Museum's committee is accepting applications until July 31, and includes not just the financial backing and mentorship but an office inside the Petersen and access to all the contacts and resources the Petersen has to offer.
