Jan. 5, 2021—AutoVitals, a provider of SaaS solutions for automotive repair and maintenance shops, has announced its acquisition of BayIQ, a provider of automated marketing software, according to a press release.
Founded in 2016, BayIQ was designed to provide auto and tire professionals manage their marketing needs through one resource with features like loyalty program management and automated service reminders.
With the acquisition of BayIQ, AutoVitals adds to its suite of products designed to optimize shop performance through solutions for workflow management, digital vehicle inspection, POS integration and more.
BayIQ’s team is expected to remain with the combined company.
The acquisition is AutoVitals’ first since receiving a significant growth investment from Tritium Partners in 2019. “We see significant opportunity to deliver an increasingly comprehensive solution and plan to provide the resources necessary to expand our respective go-to-market teams, further enhance product/feature development and pursue additional acquisitions," said Chris Steiner, Principal at Tritium Partners in the release.
