Dec. 17, 2020—VIP Tires & Service has officially opened its first location in Western Massachusetts, becoming the company's sixth store in the state, according to a press release.
VIP Tires & Service, which is based in Auburn, Maine, operates 62 locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts providing retail and wholesale tires and installation, and professional automotive services.
The new Worcester store opened earlier this week after a full renovation in a space that began as an old Midas facility. The shop, which was designed in an effort to reduce wait provide accessibility to a broad array of tire manufacturers and hold large tire inventories on-site, now features a 1,100-square-foot office space for employees and an 8,200-square-foot service location, eight bays and on-site tire storage space for 2,500 tires.
