Dec. 8, 2020—Dana Incorporated has officially been named one of “America’s Most Responsible Companies 2021” by Newsweek
Magazine, according to a press release.
The Ohio-based company creating power-conveyance and energy-management solutions for light vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway equipment was ranked 111th out of a total of 400 companies honored, and ranked fifth in the magazine's Automotive and Components category.
The magazine's list was complied by Newsweek and its partner Statista. Companies were evaluated on corporate social responsibility efforts, including environmental, social, and corporate governance measures.
Environmental efforts including the use of solar energy fields and optimized resource usage helped earn its ranking. The company's global team is focused on reducing the company’s environmental impact across its 150 major facilities and announced a commitment to reducing reducing its total annual greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent before the end of 2035 back in October.
