Nov. 6, 2017—Mechanics Marketplace, which aims to help auto repair shops increase profits, announced its value proposition last week, in conjunction with the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Mechanics Marketplace attempts to provide auto repair shops with solutions to address the increasing shortage of technicians, and helps customers build a network of trusted shops to collaborate with on an ongoing basis.

The tool was designed to improve shop efficiency and communication, and the formalization of processes. Mechanics Marketplace helps facilitate loans of tools and equipment, the buying and selling of parts and supplies, and more.

While some Mechanics Marketplace services are free, a Premium Membership costs at least $99 per month. The marketplace works through a website, and IOS and Android Apps.
