Free Webinar Focuses on EV Service and Repair

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be holding a webinar on February 14 titled, "Understanding and Diagnosing Electric Hybrid Vehicles."

Feb. 10, 2023–The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be holding a free webinar on servicing hybrid and electric vehicles, according to a press release.

Titled “Understanding and Diagnosing Electric Hybrid Vehicles,” the educational event is intended to teach service technicians about diagnosing, repairing, and servicing EVs.

Instructor "G" Jerry Truglia with ATTS Training will go over topics pertaining to safety, hybrid diagnosis using scan tools, AC to DC inverters and DC to DC converters, isolation faults regenerative braking system, and more; as well as “real-world testing examples.”

The hour-and-a-half-long webinar will be held on February 14. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance up to one week following the event. Those who may not attend live may still register and possibly receive a recorded copy of the event.
