TEXA USA has announced AXONE VOICE, a hands-free diagnostic tool that technicians can command with their voice, according to a press release.
Manufactured in Italy by TEXA, it comes as a “single, portable device” equipped with IDC5 software and a 13.3” screen with 2560×1600 resolution protected by Gorilla Glass. Its Windows 10 Enterprise operating system is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor.
It comes with two 8 MP cameras; one for the device’s facial recognition feature to unlock it, and one for remote assistance from the TEXA call center.
The device can recommend courses of action after a vehicle scan, as well as provide information on the vehicle such as its identification number, technical sheets, or mechanical data, all by speaking the verbal command: “Hey, TEXA.”
The product was first introduced at the AAPEX trade show in November 2022 and is now available for purchase from authorized sellers.
