Auto Shop Helps Wisconsin Families Assemble Holiday Presents

The service is free of charge, born out of a desire from the owners of Volks Auto LLC - Service & Repair to help families out during the holidays in their own way.

An automotive shop in Antigo, Wisconsin is helping out families during the holidays by offering to assemble toy gifts, WAOW reports.

Volks Auto LLC - Service & Repair will be accepting toy dropoffs until Dec. 21 to assemble items such as dollhouses, bicycles, or smaller furniture, before having them ready for pickup on Dec. 22, according to a post on the business’s Faccebook.

The only requirement is that toys be left in their original packaging, as not to lose any pieces of the product. The business has even offered to keep the toys on site for those living in small homes or apartments.

The service is free of charge, born out of a desire from co-owners Dustin and Julia Volkmann to help families out during the holidays in their own way.

“You know we just have the space, the tools, the skills to be able to do this when a lot of people don't,” said Julia Volkmann.
