The award recognizes those in the industry aged 35 and younger.

Motor Age magazine has opened nominations for its fourth-annual Best Young Tech Award–a title recognizing those in the industry aged 35 and younger.

Besides the age requirement, technicians must have at least two years of experience in the industry, and have demonstrated growth within their career or studies, their involvement with the community, and their contributions to the shop they work at.

The competition’s grand prize winner will be awarded a feature profile in Motor Age’s October issue, a trip to the 2024 AAPEX/SEMA Show, tools and equipment from the contest’s sponsors, an award plaque, and a uniform patch.

Techs may be nominated by someone else or nominate themselves. Nominations will be accepted through June 5, and may be submitted online.
