April 20, 2016—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced Tuesday the dates for its Certified Automotive Tire Service (ATS) training to take place Aug. 30 through Sept. 2 at Green River Community College in Auburn, Wash., near Seattle.
The four-day training includes classroom and hands-on training to help technicians return to shops to train fellow technicians for certification. The training will cover tire service for passenger vehicles and light trucks including wheel installation with proper torque and tire repair, as well as a day of training on tire pressure monitoring systems.
