LAS VEGAS, Nov. 3, 2015—The Car Care Council Women’s Board on Tuesday hosted a press conference awarding the recipients of its annual awards.
Amy Mattinat kicked off the awards ceremony by introducing last year’s Woman of the Year award winner, Jodi Kramer of United Marketing. Kramer introduced the Woman of the Year winner, Tammy Tecklenburg, vice president global sales and marketing operations for Spectrum Brands—Global Auto Care. Tecklenburg also started the Women’s Board mentorship program.
Next, 180 Degrees Automotive shop owner Bogi Lateiner presented the Female Shop Owner of the Year award to Pamela Gatto, president of the six-location Gatto’s Tires & Auto Service.
Rounding out the awards ceremony, Vonda Lee, director of retail and special markets at Beck/Arnley, accepted the Auto Care Woman of Excellence award. Lee was also recognized for her work with the board’s scholarships, which have doubled in annual amount since she began working on the committee.
