Dec. 21, 2015

Dec. 21, 2015—Mikael Bratt, a member of the Volvo Group’s executive team, announced on Friday that he intends to leave his position as executive vice president of group trucks operations. He will join the automotive safety company, Autoliv, as its new business area president.

Bratt will remain in his current position for up to six months until a new head of the Volvo Group’s global production organization is appointed.

“It is with mixed feelings that I leave the Volvo Group after 27 fantastic years”, said Bratt. “The Group has entered a new exciting phase, at the same time my new job as head of a complete business area offers a challenge that I cannot resist.”
