Dec. 16, 2015—Dayco named Bruno Vallillo president of its business in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. In his new position, Vallillo will manage Dayco’s original equipment and aftermarket businesses in these regions, including sales, manufacturing distribution and all support functions.
Vallillo joined Dayco in 2006 and has held multiple positions within the company, including senior production manager, marketing director, vice president and general manager.
“Dayco has taken significant strides in growing our business over the past several years. As we look forward, it is important we continue to align our products, processes, procedures and, in general, how we conduct business,” said John Bohenick, chief executive officer for Dayco. “Bruno will continue to help Dayco meet its goal of improving how the world moves by creating products, systems and relationships that endure.”
Current President of Dayco’s business in Europe and India, Bernd Winterhagen, will be retiring from the company. Winterhagen has worked for Dayco since 1980 and had led its teams in Europe and India for more than 35 years.
“Bernd’s contributions and steadfast performance have made Dayco a stronger, truly global organization,” said Bohenick. “While he will be missed at Dayco, our Associates wish Bernd the best on his well-deserved retirement.”
