July 9, 2019—After a tornado hit on May 22, Donnie Braun & Sons Auto Repair in Jefferson City, Mo., is preparing a temporary auto repair shop, reports the News Tribune.
Construction recently began on a temporary shop as cleanup of the current one still continues. Owner Alan Braun said they hope to have the shop up and running in about two months.
Along with the auto repair shop, the storage unit of the business took a lot of damage. While not all of Braun’s over 200 units were affected, many were, said Braun.
In the meantime, the business is operating out of a trailer and attempting to catch up on paperwork, billing statements, and insurance.
