App in Works to Offer Voice Guidance

When finalized, the application would bring voice guidance to industry workers in order to assist with tasks.

March 14, 2019—The latest invention created by Whispr, a new company company based in Copenhagen, hopes to bring voice guidance to industry workers in order to assist with tasks. According to VentureBeat, the company announced funding efforts from Seedcamp, as well as a Bose investment, and Denmark's PreSeed Ventures, and Futuristic VC.

According to VentureBeat, the application's purpose is to "whisper" instructions as well as expert advice to workers as they do their jobs, such as fixing a car. In addition, another goal of the app is to give users the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers back.

“We have a platform for ‘processes’ or ‘checklists’ to come alive,” Whispr chief executive officer and co-founder Hugh O’Flanagan told VentureBeat. “We ‘understand’ the words, the patterns, the instructions, and the data to make these better over time.”

The Whispr app is still working on version 1.0, VentureBeat reports, but the company is planning a broader launch this summer.
