Maryland shop joins Brakes for Breast auto shop movement.

October 8, 2018— Revolution Motor Works in Finksburg, MD. has pledged to participate in the movement to raise funds for breast cancer awareness, Brakes for Breasts, Carroll County Times reports. According to the Carroll County Times, records show that the auto shop is the only one participating in the county.

“I’ve have an aunt that’s had breast cancer,” said Gilligan, co-owner of Revolution, told Carroll County Times. “Unfortunately I’ve had a lot of cancer in my family.”

Throughout October, the shop has pledged to give away free brake pads to customers seeking brake jobs. Customers essentially only pay for the labor of the process, and 10 percent of the proceeds from each job will be donated to Dr. Vincent Tuohy and the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund, the Carroll County Times reports.
