June 19, 2018—autoflow announces its name is changing back to autotext.me.
The company’s founder, Chris Cloutier, explains, “We initially changed our name because we often found it portrayed the wrong perception that all we did was texting. We wanted to ensure awareness that we offer so much more from beginning to end of the vehicle repair process including workflow management, digital vehicle inspections, digital work orders, quality control, and a program for rewarding customer loyalty.
“Due to a trademark discrepancy, it became necessary for us to change our name back to autotext.me. Though a painstaking situation to be in, our customers, friends, and industry peers expressed their support, understanding, and humor for good ol’ human error. As for texting, changing back to autotext.me is working for us since our product has the capability to text more than vehicle repair status updates. We also text digital vehicle inspections (DVIs), work orders, appointment reminders and follow-ups.”
The company continues to move forward with new features to launch later this year.
Created and developed by a shop owner, autotext.me is a cloud-based tool delivering digital solutions for workflow management, communication, vehicle inspections, work orders, quality control, and customer rewards and referrals. autotext.me integrates with a variety of shop management systems and focuses on streamlining everyday processes.
