Jan. 19, 2016—On Monday, Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) announced its new product, Speed Sleeves. Speed Sleeves protect primary exhaust header pipes serving both as an insulator and heat barrier for pipes.
The new product is designed to be a time-saving alternative to wrapping headers from top to bottom and can also be used for spot heat protection on any pipe or manifold.
Also sold as a kit, Speed Sleeves has everything needed for a quick and simple install included 8-inch wide exhaust wrap, locking fasteners and stainless steel locking ties. It is available for either or 4-, 6- or 8-cylinder engines.
