Aug. 9, 2013— The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) is hosting a complimentary, 30-minute, members-only webinar on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. EDT on employee eligibility for health insurance exchanges.
This is the first in a series of five webinars being hosted by AAIA this fall on the different aspects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The webinar will be presented by Anita Baker, managing partner of employee benefit plans at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. Baker specializes in providing assurance, tax and consulting services to plan sponsors and third-party administrators.
Effective Oct. 1, all employers must provide a notification to employees regarding their eligibility for health insurance exchanges. This notice must include information about the existence of the state and federal marketplaces, their services offered and how to contact them.
