June 2, 2020—Tire Discounters is planning to add five new locations in Knoxville, Tenn., Huntsville, Ala., and Indianapolis, Ind., according to a press release.
According to the release, the first of the five new stores opened Saturday, May 30 in Knoxville, Tenn. The Cincinnati-based company expects to add over 50 new jobs to support the new stores.
The company announced its expansion plans as its competitors are scaling back during the pandemic. In the past two years, Tire Discounters has added 25 stores and two new markets, adding to a total of 135 retail locations.
