July 2, 2020—On July 1, GB Auto Service Inc. acquired 32 stores from Sun Devil Auto Service and Sun Auto Service, reports Modern Tire Dealer.
According to the report, Sun Devil Auto Service made up 20 of the stores around the Phoenix area, with Sun Auto Service making up four stores in Texas and eight stores in Nevada.
The acquisition also details plans to add tires to the store's offerings.
The company went from 30-plus locations in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, to now over 60. While the company was founded in 1978, a mix of acquisitions have been included in the company's growth since 2017.
