July 9, 2020—General Motors has named Brake Parts Inc the 2019 GM Supplier of the Year, according to a press release.
According to the release, the award was presented during a virtual ceremony of the company's 28th annual Supplier of the Year awards on June 24. The awards ceremony was originally supposed to be held back in March, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the event, General Motors recognized a total of 116 suppliers hailing from 15 countries.
This is BPI's third time receiving the award.
