GM Partners with EVgo on New Charging Stations

EVgo plans to add 2,700 electric vehicle chargers through the partnership.

August 3, 2020—General Motors has partnered with EVgo, an electric vehicle charging station provider, to add 2,700 new fast chargers, reports Reuters.

According to the report, the partnership comes as GM is expected to launch many new electric vehicles in the coming years and aims to increase GM's public fast charging network for electric vehicle drivers.

The chargers can be accessed by the general public over the next five years and will start to become available in early 2021.
