General Motors Outsells Tesla in EVs

General Motors sold more electric cars last month than Tesla, which is no small feat.

Sept. 9, 2020—General Motors' micro electric vehicle has become the most sold electric vehicle in the country surpassing Tesla. 

Last month, 15,000 micro EVs were sold in China compared to the 11,800 Model 3 sedans that Tesla sold, reports Reuters

The micro model, titled Hongguang MINI EV, is a two-door electric vehicle priced at $4,200, while Tesla charges $42,701 for its Model 3.
